Applications, for prospective students who are seeking admission at the beginning of the school year, will be received until 15 January each year.
Introductory TourFrom 1st October in each school year, parents of prospective students are very welcome to visit the school and receive an introductory tour of the school and its facilities. You are encouraged to contact the school prior to you coming so that an appointment may be made. At this time, should you wish to proceed with a application, you will be given an "Admissions Packet" including an application form and other forms which should be completed and returned to the Admissions Officer on the day of the "sit in visit".
Sit-in VisitFollowing the introductory tour, and providing that there is likely to be space available, the prospective student is required to come to school for a "sit-in" pre-entry visit. This visit, which is a required part of our admissions process, will be with a class at the level applied for, unless the Headmaster determines that the visit should be at an alternative grade level. The duration will be the length of the school day at that level.
An administration fee of 2500 pesos is payable at the time of the sit-in visit.
Academic TestingAt a separate time, children applying for Grade 3 and above for the following school year will be tested to establish academic readiness. Children who apply to enter Grade 2 after the school year has started, will also be tested.
Interview with ParentsFollowing the sit-in visit and, if appropriate, academic testing, an interview is arranged with the parents of the prospective student. The interview includes both parents, a Board of Trustees member and the Headmaster.
Offers of a Place and AcceptanceOnce the prospective student has had a sit-in visit, has been tested if appropriate, and the parents have completed an interview, then the application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and a space may be offered. Should the number of applications for a grade level exceed the number of spaces available, then the Admissions Committee will consider all applications and then determine which students will be offered a place.
Offers will generally made by 29 January in each year. Should ample space be available at a grade level, then earlier offers may be made.
Decisions made by the Admissions Committee on acceptance for enrolment, and grade level placement, are final.
Once a place is offered, the reservation fee is payable by the date indicated in the letter of offer, in order to secure the place.
Applications After 15 JanuaryAfter 15 January in each year, further applications are welcomed, should space be available at the grade level applied for.
For returning students, the Returning Students Reservation Fee must be paid by the date advised by the Board of Trustees.
Providing that an existing student remains in "good standing", then the student will be able to retain a place for each succeeding school year.
When a grade level is at capacity, then a waiting list will be started.
During the school year, admissions will be accepted up until the beginning of the Third Term.
Other than in exceptional cases, all new students will be admitted at the beginning of a school term. However, in the first six weeks of the school year, admissions may be accepted with a view towards an immediate start.
