The Beacon School offers two full scholarships annually, for entry to Grade Six of the coming school year.
Successful candidates need to demonstrate a strong academic background, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. The ability to make a positive contribution to the Beacon School community is also required. The family of the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
Following receipt of applications, candidates will be shortlisted and a number will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee, and by school academic personnel. This will include academic testing. As well, parents of shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
Applications should include a letter of application, a brief resume, and the latest school academic records, and should be clearly marked "Scholarship Application."
