Beacon Students Join Robotics Competition

Last March 1, the Beacon School participated in the 2023 Manila VEX IQ Competition – Qualifier – Elementary and Middle School at Colegio de Muntinlupa. Three teams from Beacon took part, Lia and Anika from Grade 8, Gavin and Marcial from Grade 7 and Matthew and Diego from Grade 6 with Gavin and Marcial’s team making it to the elimination round. It was the first time the Beacon School had competed in a robotics contest since the pandemic. The tournament was a culmination of all the work the students had put in since August.
